Amy is the Memories of London Programme Manager at the Museum of London and has played a key role in writing and implementing the London Dementia Friendly Venues Charter. The charter, launched by the Mayor of London in May 2021, aims to transform cultural venues for people living with dementia and their carers. Amy is also responsible for leading and managing the museum’s dementia friendly work, including chairing the Arts & Culture Dementia-Friendly London network. She works across the arts and health sectors to advocate for a dementia-friendly cultural sector, as well as designing the museums’ dementia-friendly programme. Amy is passionate about inclusive design and access and believes in the transformative power of the arts. She has worked across the cultural sector in the UK and Australia for organisations such as the British Library, Sydney Living Museums, for major Australian theatre/dance organisations and The Arts Health Institute, Sydney. She is also a Winston Churchill Memorial Fellow, travelling to Brazil to research community engagement through the arts.
